SH11 Paihia Waterfront Repairs
State Highway 11 will be closed in both directions between Bayview Road and Williams Road, Paihia during weekdays (Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm) to carry out repairs to the road and footpath following Cyclone Tam last month.
Local road detours:
Northbound: Via Williams Road, Selwyn Road and Bayview Road
Southbound: Via Bayview Road, Selwyn Road, Williams Road, Joyce Road, School Road
The detour is expected to add less than three minutes to travel times. During weekends and evenings, one lane is available to southbound traffic through the worksite with a reduced speed limit of 30km/h.
Work is expected to be complete by Friday 6 June (weather dependent).
People are asked to be patient, treat crews on site with respect and drive with care.
