The Mara kindly invites radio stations, playlisters, and media to take a listen and consider adding "Didn't Foresee Today" to their rotations and playlists, and to consider publishing media articles about the song.

Mysterious and intriguing in its verses, the track draws heavily on lead singer Jordan’s formative years spent in the Middle East, weaving Arabic melodic influences throughout the song's early moments. The eerie, captivating atmosphere then erupts into punchy, rock-driven choruses designed to catch listeners off guard — a musical embodiment of the song’s title and spirit.

"Didn't Foresee Today" quickly became a crowd favorite during The Mara’s live performances, thanks to its surprising dynamic shift, mesmerising Arabian melodies, and a catchy, driving bassline. The track also features commanding saxophone melodies and bold guitar solos, offering a rich, layered listening experience that surprises and delights at every turn. One of the very first songs the band ever wrote, it captures the raw creativity and cultural blend that have since become hallmarks of their sound.

Following the release, The Mara will celebrate with a live show on Saturday, May 3rd at Crowded House in New Plymouth, hosted by Indie Cindy. This event promises to deliver the same energy and unpredictability that fans have come to love.
