Fatal Crash, State Highway 57, Shannon

Police are now in a position to confirm two people have died following a two vehicle crash, on the intersection of State Highway 57 and Kara Road, Shannon.

Police were called to the crash involving a truck around 3pm this afternoon.

The road remains closed.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
