$6,000 Kellogg Rural Leadership Scholarship Open
Applications are now open for one Northland recipient to have their Kellogg Rural Leadership course paid for by Whangarei A&P Society. The scholarship is to assist with growing Northland’s future leaders in the Primary Sector.
Last year’s recipient of the scholarship, Nathan Chestnut is nearing the end of his Kellogg course and has described the experience as ‘’a journey of personal growth and learning.’’
‘’The Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme is a real eye opener. For those who are involved in the world of agriculture and are wanting to learn about effective leadership and expand knowledge and networks, this is for you. If you’re passionate about the rural sector and are wanting to be one of the change-makers in rural NZ, set your sights on this course.’’
Nathan encourages Northlanders to apply, especially those wanting to make connections with current leaders in the wider rural sector.
‘’You get exposure to world-class speakers, insights, and experiences and further your skills and passion. Connections made throughout the course come in many forms, professional, educational, mentorship and friendship. The Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme will have you setting your goals at new heights and have yourself wondering, what next?’’
Northlanders interested in attending the Lincoln based programme in January 2023 can apply for the $6,000.00 scholarship now. Applications close 5.00pm 24th October 2022, which allows for processing and interview prior to the course closing date of 30th October 2022.
