Train services not affected by industrial action

Auckland Transport assures train customers that at this stage there are no disruptions associated with strike action by CAF maintenance staff.
Some engineering staff employed by CAF are on strike over pay and conditions. CAF is the company which maintains Auckland's fleet of electric trains.
Auckland Transport is working on contingency plans which may, if needed, mean that some trains may only have three carriages rather than six carriages during peak times.
