Last call for Annual Plan submissions

Published: Tue 30 Apr 2019 09:13 AM
“There is less than a week until submissions close on the Council’s 2019-20 Annual Plan,” says Marlborough Mayor John Leggett.
“I encourage people to have their say - now is your chance to tell councillors and myself if you think we’ve got our plans about right, or whether there are other initiatives or projects you think the Council should be supporting.”
“The deadline for submissions is 5.00 pm this Monday 6 May.”
To read the Annual Plan 2019-20 Update, go to www.marlborough.govt.nz or pick up a copy at Council’s Blenheim office, Picton Library and Service Centre, Marlborough District Library, Blenheim, or your local community library.
It explains Council’s work in the coming financial year, how much we expect to spend on our activities and services, and how it will be funded. If you’d like to make a submission you can do so online at www.marlborough.govt.nz/ under ‘Have your Say’. Or write to: Annual Plan Feedback Marlborough District Council, 15 Seymour St, PO Box 443 Blenheim or email: annualplan@marlborough.govt.nz
If you would also like to speak to councillors at a hearing, from 4 to 6 June, please let us know, along with your submission.
ENDS.
