Christchurch terror attack – Christchurch Central Police station open
The public counter at Christchurch Central Police station, located in the Justice and Emergency Services Precinct on Lichfield Street, reopened to the public today.
Armed Police remain at the front and rear of the premises.
This is to ensure public safety and is a reflection of the current national threat level, which remains high.
Police understand the community may have a number of questions regarding firearms.
These should be directed to Christchurch Central Police station, or your local arms officer.
