Saturday/Sunday 9 - 10 March Summary
One search involving three clubs (Mairangi Bay, Red Beach and Orewa) was conducted on Saturday between 11.50am and 2.09pm.
IRBs from each of these clubs searched for a missing kayaker off Whangaparoa Peninsula. Mairangi Bay was alerted by a friend who had been fishing with the kayaker when conditions got rough. The kayaker was eventually found safe at Long Bay.
