On Saturday five personal assists occurred at Pakiri beach. In total there were five minor 1st aids, one major 1st aid and one search conducted.

Sunday 3 March summary
On Sunday three rescues took place at Pakiri, Omaha and Sunset beach. Four major first aids were conducted. One major first aid took place at Omaha for a 45 year old male who hit his head against the sand in the Omaha shorebreak. Patient couldn’t feel his legs initially but the feeling started to return slowly before he was transported to hospital by an ambulance. The remaining major first aids were at Orewa beach with two being conducted at Muriwai.
