Water restrictions lifted

Published: Tue 19 Feb 2019 10:12 AM
Water restrictions have been lifted this morning now city reservoirs have replenished to a good level.
This follows a fantastic effort by the community to conserve water over the past few days, after a leak was discovered in the main water supply pipeline last week.
Outdoor water use, including sprinklers, hoses and car washing, is again permitted.
While the dam levels are fairly high for this time of year and the reservoirs are refilled, conservation remains key to avoid future restrictions.
Please continue to use water consciously and avoid wastage.
We thank the community and industry for getting on board with the water conservation efforts, and our contractors for working efficiently to get the supply back up and running.
