A relatively quiet day on the Northern Region beaches. Lifeguards were tasked by Police to assist with a stranded jetski near Bolder Bay south of Karekare but a private boat was able to get them under tow before the guards could reach them. Police also requested lifeguard assistance for a person injured on the rocks with possible broken ankle south of Bethells Beach. The guards were able to stabilise the person and bring them to the main beach and an ambulance wasn’t required.
