Two men have been arrested in relation to the robbery of the Riccarton Road Kiwibank today at 11am near Westfield Mall in Christchurch.
Two men, one aged in his 20s and the other in his 30s will be facing robbery charges and appearing in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow.
At about 11am this morning a man entered the bank and demanded money. The man did not have a weapon.
No one was injured during the robbery, however staff were shaken and have been referred to Victim Support.
Police are continuing with inquiries at the scene today and encourage witnesses to the robbery to come forward.
