Auckland’s brightest festive season yet with Vector Lights

On the 12th day of Christmas my true love gave to me, a dazzling Vector Lights show on the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge.

This festive season, Vector Lights is counting down the 12 days of a Kiwi Christmas based on the story “A Pukeko in a Ponga Tree” by author Kingi Ihaka. The sustainable light show, and accompanying soundtrack, will repeat every 15 minutes from 13 to 24 December 2018 between 9pm and midnight.

Councillor Richard Hills says “the lighting of the Auckland Harbour Bridge using solar and battery technology is unique to Auckland and something the whole region can enjoy.

“The festive season is a special time of the year, so it is great that we are able to use one of Auckland’s most recognisable landmarks to celebrate in a sustainable and creative way.”
