"Pedestrian struck by train in Mt Albert Auckland"
Police are attending an incident where a person has died after being struck by a train in Mt Albert at about 12.20pm today.
Passengers on the train were moved to buses for the remaineder of their journey.
A number of specialist Police teams are still in attendance at the scene near the Woodward Road crossing.
Trains will be delayed for a little longer while the scene is investigated and more details will be released when they become available.
