At about 4pm today West Coast Armed Offenders Squad were called to reports of a man with a firearm threatening another
man.
The offender was arrested without incident a short time after Police arriving.
No one was injured during the incident and the weapon was recovered at the scene.
A 25-year-old local man was arrested and will be remanded in custody to appear in court on Monday.
He is facing firearms charges and no one else is being sought in relation to the incident.
