A performance by New Zealand musician Ben Lummis is just one of the many attractions on offer at Christmas in the Park 2018.
Encounter Levin is holding the free family event at Levin Adventure Park on Saturday 15 December, with the support of Horowhenua District Council, New World and Woodhaven Gardens.
Event organiser Sheredene Harimate said Christmas in the Park has something for everyone.
“It’s a Christmas event for the whole family to enjoy,” she said.
“There will be performances from local community groups, including a hip hop performance by the Kate Martin School of Dance and a Pasifika performance. We also have bouncy castles and an inflatable soccer field, a Nativity photobooth, food, and – of course! – Santa.”
The event starts at 4pm, and Ben Lummis performs at 7pm before leading everyone in Christmas carols from 8pm. Entry is free.
