SH2 at Clarke Road Te Puna to close tonight temporarily

The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists State Highway 2 just north of Clarke Road, Te Puna will close from around 6:30pm to 7:30pm tonight 4 December.
This is to urgently remove a storm damaged tree.
We ask all light vehicles to use detour. Northbound right into Te Puna Station road, left into Te Puna Road to SH2. Southbound left into Te Puna Road, right into Te Puna Station road to SH2. Large vehicles will be stacked either side of the closure.
The NZ Transport Agency wants to thank road users for their understanding and patience.
