Following last weekend’s postponement of the Farmers Santa Parade, our Christmas helpers would like to share some tips and hints to make sure kids and families have the best experience ever this Sunday the 2nd of December.

The pre-parade entertainment will kick off at 12pm, with the Parade starting at 1pm. Afterwards, families can head to Aotea Square for Santa’s Party for even more fun from 2.30PM, with the opportunity to see the likes of Nickelodeon’s PAW Patrol live.

The best spot to watch the Parade is on Mayoral Drive, where it’s usually less busy than Downtown – and as Auckland’s weather can be quite tricky, don’t forget to bring a raincoat and enjoy!

Free parking is available at the Downtown and Victoria Street Auckland Transport Car Parks for cars parked before 11am and exiting between 1pm and 6pm. Buses or trains are also great options to get to the Parade. You could even jump on a Lime scooter!
