B1G1 Global Impact Leaders Visit Auckland
Globally hailed socially responsibility initiative B1G1 founders Masami Sato and Paul Dunn are due to visit Auckland tomorrow ahead of London, Manchester and Edinburg and then in early 2019 the US, as part of their Global Impact Tour which aims to highlight just how easy it can be for businesses to expand their impact.
Over the past decade, the initiative has already created a staggering 165 Million giving impacts around the world. B1G1 works with businesses helping them grow and in the process aims to grow the ‘giving back’ impact to 1.6 Billion impacts by 2025.
Multiple TEDx speakers and best-selling authors Sato and Dunn will be speaking at the Rydges Auckland on 27 November giving Auckland businesses the opportunity to step-up their social responsibility while simultaneously growing their business and social impact. With the likes of some leading small and medium businesses joining the cause, it is a no-brainer to make the time to learn just how creating a ‘Business for Good’ culture can mean significant business growth.
Paul Dunn says, “I have worked with leading-edge businesses, entrepreneurs and industry organisations globally, and the impact B1G1 has had, both in business and socially on a global level, is game-changing. Sharing just how this applies to your business is why we are coming to Auckland as part of our Global Impact: the world tour series of events.”
Co-founder of B1G1 Masami Sato started her food business in Christchurch which ultimately lead to the unique giving–back concept to grow to global proportions. In a recent interview in Melbourne, Sato said, “it is not about donating to charity or feel-good causes, but about elevating business culture and social sentiment that brings about generational change to countless people and worthwhile projects in New Zealand and abroad.”
Businesses have long been looking at ways to give back yet often much of donated funds are greatly reduced by administration costs and the like before they reach those in need. B1G1 delivers 100% of all funds to its multitude of causes, even covering bank charges in order to maximise impact and to retain maximum leverage for the businesses that join the meaningful global movement.
Since 2007, those 165 Million giving impacts have spread across projects like clean drinking water, food, education, health and direct support to orphans, refugees, and the empowerment of farmers, changing countless lives.
With the season of giving literally around the corner, meeting and hearing from the B1G1 (it stands for Buy1Give1) founders will shift your view of how easy making an impact can be, and make this unique event simply a ‘must-attend’.
The Global Impact Tour presentation is held on Tuesday the 27th November at Rydges Auckland with details for the day available at www.b1g1.com/impactworldtour
