"Body located in search for missing woman"
Attribute to Inspector Bruce O’Brien, Waitemata North Area Commander:
Police searching for the missing Waitakere woman have recently recovered a body at a property within the search area.
While formal identification is yet to take place, the body is believed to be that of Michelle Simpson, who was reported missing on Monday.
Police have notified Michelle’s next of kin and the matter has been referred to the Coroner.
Police want to again thank the community for their assistance in this search.
