Police appealing for information after baby sustains serious injuries

Police are appealing for information following an investigation into an incident where an infant has sustained serious injuries at an address in Mt Wellington.
The 8-week-old baby was taken into a medical centre in Panmure on Thursday 8th November before they were transported to Starship Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
Police were notified the following day and we are working to establish how the victim sustained these serious injuries.
Police have been speaking to relatives as part of our enquiries and we want to hear from anyone who has information about this matter.
