Charges laid after fireworks incident

Rolleston Police have charged a man in relation to a fire started by fireworks shot from a car on Newtons Road, Rolleston on Saturday night.
The man came forward and spoke with Police after the incident was publicised.
He has been charged with intentional damage and will appear in the Christchurch District Court on Tuesday, 13 November.
Police do not require anything further from the public on this case, and would like to thank those who have provided information over the last few days.
