Statement attributable to Inspector Matt Srhoj, District Prevention Manager
Police are making inquiries after a support tent was broken into at the Auckland Super Sprint event in Pukekohe overnight.
Tools and a support vehicle were stolen in the burglary which Police were alerted to this morning.
Today Police have been making inquiries at the scene, a forensic examination has been completed and any relevant CCTV footage will be reviewed.
Anyone who has information in relation to the burglary is asked to contact Counties Manukau Police on 09 261 1300.
