"Police appeal for witnesses to fatal Waimate crash "
Waimate Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed a car driving erratically on or near Hakataramea Highway at around 12.30pm on Monday 29 October 2018.
Barry Edgar Sherwood, a 77-year-old Waimate man, died after colliding with a tree between Parkers Bush Road and Kapua School Road at 12.30pm that day.
Mr Sherwood was driving a grey 1997 Nissan Cefiro and we'd like to hear from anyone who believes they may have seen his car around the time of the crash.
