"Gas leak resolved, Wanaka"
A gas leak in Mt Iron, Wanaka has been resolved.
Police and fire services were called around 2pm to the leak which affected around 40 homes.
The reticulated gas supply to local residents was closed off for two hours.
Contractors are working directly with affected households to resume service.
Homes that use reticulated gas are asked not to use open flames until the gas is turned back on.
