An Exciting New Opportunity to Experience Ponsonby

Introducing Eat Drink Ponsonby – Auckland’s hottest precinct promotion in the country’s hippest strip!
Eat Drink Ponsonby will encourage people to visit, dine and party in Ponsonby. It will take in two weekends, running from Thursday 16 May until Sunday 26 May 2019.
Initiated by the Ponsonby Business Association (PBA), manager Viv Rosenberg says “our strip is famous for its restaurants, bars and cafes. We want to celebrate their contribution to the life of Ponsonby and show greater Auckland why we’ve earned the title of ‘Auckland’s Hippest Strip’.”
Over 10 days we’ll be showcasing Ponsonby’s finest cuisine from acclaimed restaurants to casual dining, from brunch to evening cocktails and everything in between. In addition to the focus on food and drinks we’ll be working with local retailers to incorporate their stores into the experiences.
Underscoring the community nature of Ponsonby, we are excited Barfoot & Thompson is the principal partner for Eat Drink Ponsonby. NZME and Auckland’s favourite lifestyle title, VIVA is our principal media partner and specialty food retailer, Farro, is a gold partner.

PBA has engaged Marvellous Marketing to deliver Eat Drink Ponsonby. Marvellous Marketing is owned by Kathie Bartley and Nicola McConnell, two senior marketing communication professionals with significant food and drinks marketing credentials.
Organisers will announce the programme of special dinners, master classes, events and experiences in March 2019.
