"Drowning incident in Hawke's Bay"
Police and emergency services were called to the scene of a reported drowning in Waipukurau just before 3pm today.
A young child, aged two-years-old is reported to have drowned in a residential swimming pool.
Victim Support is offering the family assistance and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
The death will be referred to the Coroner.
