Motorists travelling into Wellington this morning should expect significant delays following a truck crash on State
Highway 1.
The truck, which was transporting potentially hazardous chemicals, rolled south of Pukerua Bay blocking the road in both
directions about 3.45am.
SH1 is closed between Paekakariki and Grays Road at Mana and cars are being diverted over Paekakariki Hill Road.
The road is expected to be closed for a number of hours.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries.
