The future of urban transport arrives in Auckland

Global electric scooter phenomenon, Lime is unleashing its e-scooters onto the streets of Auckland! To celebrate the collaborative effort by Lime and Auckland Transport undertaken to bring this world-renowned technology to New Zealand, media are invited to attend an official launch ceremony at 12pm Monday 15 October.
New Zealand Lime Launcher, Hank Rowe will unveil a fleet of e-scooters, with Cr Mike Lee and will be available to speak with media about the dual launches in Auckland and Christchurch.

What: Cr Mike Lee will be among the first to trial this new trend in micro-mobility, racing around the park on a Lime scooter.
Why: Lime works to provide more accessible, greener transportation for cities around the world. Lime motivates people to get out of cars through providing first and last-mile solutions by connecting commuters to public transport.
