Upper Hutt's Month of Wheels is back

If you’re a bike rider, buggy walker, secret roller skater or want to have a go on an E-bike, then Month of Wheels is for you!
UPPER HUTT, Wellington NZ, 25 SEP 2018 —Council’s Activation team brings back the Month of Wheels, during the month of October. There will be free opportunities for people to try new activities, and get out and active on wheels.
Council's Activation team have partnered with local clubs and organisations to promote their events and club days.
“Within Upper Hutt we have Inline Speed Skating, Inline Hockey, and BMX leagues that young and old can participate in,” says Community Recreation Advisor, Steph Reichardt. “With daylight savings at the end of September, October will be the perfect opportunity to get out and about to see what Upper Hutt has to offer in terms of activities on wheels.

• Buggy Walk: Thursday 4 October, 10am, Queen Elizabeth Park, Kapiti
• Stroll ‘n’ Roll’s 1st Birthday Walk: Friday 12 October, 9.30am, Meet at the Trentham Memorial Park

• Pedal and Picnic: Sunday 14 October, 11.30am – 1.30pm, Harcourt Park
• Pedal Ready E-Bike Course: Thursday 18 October Harcourt Park (Bookings essential – email info@pedalready.org.nz)
