Otago Museum is searching for one mystery visitor who shares their name with the Museum’s award-winning Tūhura Otago Community Trust Science Centre.
“At the end of our 150th anniversary exhibition, est. 1868, there is an area where visitors can leave comments and thoughts about the future of the Museum”, says Science Centre Manager Sam Botting. “One visitor left us a note that says, ‘My last name is Tuhura, I feel like I should get into the Tuhura part for FREE!’, and you know what? We think they’re right.”
The Museum has taken to social media to search for the mystery visitor.
Sam says, “We’ve put the call out on Twitter and Facebook to try and find the person who wrote us this note – we’ve got a family pass waiting with their name on it, because how could we not have the Tuhuras visit Tūhura!?”
The mystery visitor can get in touch with Sam at otago.museum@otagomuseum.nz.
