Established Bay of Plenty and Waikato real estate brand Eves Real Estate has expanded to Northland with the acquisition of LJ Hooker Whangarei.
Eves Real Estate chief executive Simon Anderson said the move to Northland was a natural fit for his brand.
Eves Real Estate specialises in residential and lifestyle sales, rentals and property management.
There are currently 12 Eves Real Estate offices in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. The new Eves Real Estate Whangarei franchise is the 13th office for the business.
“We are delighted to expand the Eves brand into Whangarei. We believe the brand is well placed to represent the property needs of people of this beautiful city,” Anderson said.
L J Hooker Whangarei has been owned by the Springford family for many years, over seen for the last five years by directors Jacinta Gascoigne and Sharyn Parvin since the passing of Michael Springford.
Jacinta said she was confident that the Eves brand was the right way to go for the future of the business.
“Our family have owned this business for a long time, it felt right to sell it to a brand that would continue to build on our successes and look after the great people that have been part of this business,” Gascoigne said.
The day-to-day management of the office will continue under Paul Beazley who joined LJ Hooker Whangarei in 2011 to manage the business. Paul moves into a general management role with Eves Whangarei and continues to be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business.
Beazley said it would be business as usual for his already strong team and he feels positive about the value and proposition that Eves will offer to Whangarei.
“We have a multi-award winning team with a proven track record for results, now trading under an innovative brand to take us into the future,” he said.
Anderson agreed that great people are the key to delivering Eves Real Estate’s promise to provide local knowledge and commitment to its communities.
“We are committed to excellence and making selling property as smooth and easy as possible for our customers and the key to that is having exceptional people,” he said, “this team that Paul has been running have a great reputation in the market and we are excited to be working with them.”
“At Eves, we work hard every day to understand our customers’ goals and aspirations. We are determined to get the best results for our customers,” Anderson said.
Eves Real Estate started in the Bay of Plenty in 1969. We are excited to enter the Whangarei market on the 14th August.
