Fire in Hutt Valley suburb of Seaview

Fire appliances from Wellington and the Hutt Valley Fire are attending a fire in a commercial building in the Hutt Valley.
Twelve appliances plus support vehicles are currently attending the fire in Seaview, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said.
Smoke was spotted coming from the building shortly after 6am.
There have been no reports of injury, but people in the vicinity are advised to close doors and windows and turn off air conditioning.
If people can smell smoke they are advised to move further away.
Anybody experiencing breathing difficulties or eye irritation should go to a doctor or A and E.
