Lorraine Toki Appointed as Ngāpuhi Rūnanga CEO
The Board of Trustees of Te Rūnanga-Ā-Iwi-O Ngāpuhi (‘Rūnanga’) has announced the appointment of Tai Tokerau executive
Lorraine Toki as Te Tumuhere (CEO). She takes up the position on 23 April 2018.
Mrs Toki (Ngāpuhi) is a consultant and lead advisor to a number of national iwi Māori organisations. Previously she held
executive positions at the Crown Forestry Rental Trust, and Tūhoronuku Independent Mandated Authority, the entity
mandated to progress Te Tiriti o Waitangi settlement negotiations on behalf of Ngāpuhi.
A graduate of the University of Auckland, she holds a Masters in Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Business –
Māori Development.
