Planned power outage for Raetihi and surrounding areas

As owner and operator of the National Grid, Transpower needs to undertake essential maintenance work to ensure a reliable supply of electricity to Raetihi and the surrounding areas.

A power outage will be required for this work to be completed.

We have worked to find a time that will cause as little disruption as possible to the local community. Power supply will be turned off to the wider Raetihi area on:

• Sunday 15 April 2018, 9:00am to 4:00pm

*Note, this date could be affected by severe adverse weather.

Transpower recognises that there is never an ideal time for consumers to be without electricity and apologises for any inconvenience this power outage may cause.
