Sky Tower glows lucky green for St Patrick’s Day
The Sky Tower joins with many global landmarks turning clover green in celebration of St Patrick’s Day.
This is the tenth year the Sky Tower has taken part in the global lighting.
The Sky Tower will be lit green from Friday 16 March to Sunday 18 March. The lighting is best viewed, photographed or filmed 30 minutes after sunset at 8.07 pm.
The Sky Tower is the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest free-standing structure. Based in the heart of Auckland, it is one of New Zealand’s most recognisable landmarks.
SKYCITY lights the Sky Tower for charities or community initiatives that we support financially, to mark national holidays, milestones or other celebrations or events, or as a symbol of respect or solidarity.
