Council to appoint new Chief Financial Officer
The Kāpiti Coast District Council has today announced that it is advertising for a new Chief Financial Officer following Mark de Haast’s appointment to the role of Chief Financial Officer at the Hutt City Council.
Group Manager Corporate Services Wayne Maxwell says Mr de Haast has been at the Kāpiti Coast District Council for almost four years and in that time he has built up a very strong Finance team.
“Mr de Haast will leave the Council in February with a legacy of focusing on our customers, on solutions and on results.
“His new position is a progression for a highly capable manager to a council nearly twice the size of the Kāpiti Coast District Council and his appointment reflects well on the ability of this council to recruit and develop its staff.”
The recruitment process for the role of Chief Financial Officer at the Kāpiti Coast District Council will commence this week.
