New East buses from 10 December
New East buses from this Sunday
The new network will take affect from Sunday 10 December
The new buses are polished, the new drivers are waiting, and Auckland Transport Ambassadors are ready to help customers navigate the new services – there’s only 2 more days until the East Auckland new bus network is launched.
Make sure you don’t miss your bus.
Plan your new journey
• Use the online Journey Planner or AT Mobile app to work out your new services. Be sure to enter a travel date after Sunday 10 December 2017.
Is your bus stop changing?
• With 100 new or relocated bus stops around East Auckland and Beachlands and Maraetai, you might need to catch your bus from a different location. To find out if your bus stop is affected, simply check if it has a pink notice on it indicating that it is changing, and showing the nearest bus stop to catch the new services. If it doesn’t have a pink notice, your bus stop will be served by the new bus routes from Sunday 10 December 2017.

Going to the airport?
The 380 Airporter is your connection to and from Auckland Airport, international and domestic terminals, Onehunga Station, Mangere Town Centre, Papatoetoe Station and Manukau.
From Sunday 10 December 2017, the bright orange 380 Airporter bus will operate every 15 to 20 minutes during the day, 7 days a week. There will also be more buses operating on the route, which will help reduce the connection times to and from the airport.

The new late night 70H bus service departs from stop 1420, 50 Customs Street East at 1.05am, 2.05am and 3.05am and travels via Symonds St, then to Newmarket, Pakuranga, Howick and Botany Town Centre.
This bus service operates on Friday night, early Saturday morning, Saturday night and early Sunday morning only.
Half Moon Bay ferry and bus service changes
On Monday 11 December 2017, the Half Moon Bay Ferry is changing its timetable to connect with the three new ferry feeder bus services. See the new ferry timetable here.
From Sunday 10 December 2017 these services will replace the existing bus services to Half Moon Bay.
Tips for the first week
With new routes, stops, and bus drivers, it is expected to take a few days for these big changes to settle in. To ensure you arrive at your destination on time, during the first weeks we suggest you:
• Arrive 10 minutes early to your bus stop or catch an earlier bus
• Check your timetables carefully before travelling.
