The independent sellers for the Cookie Time Christmas Campaign for 2017 are working seven days a week up until Christmas on their mission to raise $250,000 for charities such as the Blind Foundation and the Dyslexia Foundation of New Zealand, as well as ongoing support of the Cookie Time Charitable trust. Cookie Time sellers have also chosen a charity of their choice to support through the sales generated by their campaign. Businesses throughout New Zealand can expect a Cookie Time Seller to stop buy in the lead up to December, giving people the opportunity to support great initiatives and get organized for Christmas early.
With five different flavors, including a gluten free option, the Cookie Time Christmas Cookie buckets have proven to be apart of the Kiwi Christmas tradition for years.
Cookie Time Christmas sellers like Kate Inder, 20 years old, a recent graduate from Otago University, will be set up in prime locations around New Zealand every evening and weekend leading up to Christmas Eve, as well as visiting most businesses to promote, take orders for and sell the famous, Cookie Time Christmas Cookie buckets.
“This year I’m supporting the Middlemore Foundation, and am hoping to donate a bucket of cookies to every child in the intensive care unit this Christmas,” says Kate.
“The intensive care unit at Middlemore saved my life when I was little, and now Cookie Time has given me the opportunity to give back to them.”
Kate will be set up outside Papakura New World entrance every weekday evening, while going to markets, sports events and other public events on weekends. Customers will have the option to donate a bucket to a child in the Middlemore intensive care unit as well as buying for themselves.
