Queenstown Gardens celebrates 150 years this weekend!
The official celebration of the Queenstown Gardens 150th birthday is being held at the Gardens this Labour Weekend and there are plenty of activities on to entertain the family!
There will be a range of events across the weekend including jazz music, a community picnic, photo opportunities, historical tours of the gardens, morning tea, and croquet. Saturday will have the official acknowledgement and tree planting event (the attachment has more details).
The Queenstown Gardens have been a bold and beloved part of the Queenstown heart for many years, and has been the backdrop for weddings, music events, light festivals, endless holiday snaps, tennis matches, aimless strolls, the list goes on. Come along and celebrate this iconic symbol of Queenstown and acknowledge its role in the history of the Queenstown Lakes District.
