REMUERA, AUCKLAND - 13 October 2017 - TenForward Limited has opened its doors as a technology lounge with after school
and school holiday programmes, aimed at young adolescents who love gaming, technology, social media and other creative
pursuits.
At its core, TenForward strives to foster the curious minds of young Kiwis and provide the right education and tools to
inspire and help shape the next generation of gamers, broadcasters and online content creators.
TenForward offers a range of daily tech-themed educational programmes such as Minecraft Education, virtual reality
foreign language learning, completing the Digital License internet safety certification, tabletop gaming, Rubik’s speed
cubing and much more.
“Children are welcome to learn any of the available courses at their own pace, or simply hang out with their friends
playing on their own devices or our Xboxes. They can even complete their Mathletics homework on our devices, and if
they’re a Guide or Scout, they can earn their Technology badge,” said Belinda Hope, Director, TenForward Limited.
TenForward will also provide access to its facilities as a community event space for adult technology education, hobby
meet up groups, and gaming tournaments.
TenForward is now open down the road from Remuera Intermediate at 81 Green Lane East, with after school care programmes
from 3-6pm daily. For only $10 per hour, children under 14 years of age will be able to utilise the provided Xbox One
consoles, laptops, and WiFi for their own devices.
