Eat, Drink and be Crafty
Enjoy the very best of handmade crafts, artisan food and drink, and family entertainment in a rural setting at the Eat
Drink & Be Crafty Fair.
The popular annual event is being held on Saturday 27 January 2018, from 10am to 4pm, in the gorgeous surroundings of
Battlehill Farm on Paekakariki Hill Rd.
Each year the Fair attracts thousands of people to browse the stalls, picnic and take part in the old-fashioned games.
The stallholders are mostly local – selling quality, locally-made goods – and the focus is on the family having a fun
day out, where you can stroll around, do some activities and have a picnic.
Already many stall holders have signed up and, as in previous years, there will be handcrafted jewellery, scented
candles, clothing, handmade cards, furniture, soap & bath luxuries, plants and the ever popular special bubble mixture. There’s also great coffee, a huge variety of food
and the chance to taste and buy craft beer.
Stall holders are still welcome to sign up and join the fun.
For the children, and young at heart, there are classic games like sack races, gumboot throwing and egg and spoon races.
There will also be a live band and plenty of room for dancing.
Eftpos will be available on site and carparking is available for a gold coin donation.
The Fair is run by Mana Lions, with support from Porirua City Council, and raises funds for Wellington Free Ambulance.
