"Fatal crash Inglewood, Taranaki"
An 8 year old cyclist has died following a collision with a truck on State Highway 3, Inglewood.
Police are providing support to the young girl's family at this time.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of Miro and Rata Street at around 3.30pm.
The road remains closed and diversions are in place.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is being urged to call Inglewood Police on (06) 756 0901.
