Christmas At The Races dates announced
Alexandra Park is delighted to announce that a record number of Christmas At The Races hospitality evenings will be held later this year, with eight dates now confirmed for November and December.
The popular Christmas At The Races events will take place on Fridays 17 and 24 November and 1, 8, 15 and 22 December as well as Thursday 30 November and Saturday 16 December.
“We are so excited to be expanding these wonderful evenings, with people now also having a Thursday and Saturday option. They make for the perfect work Christmas party! However, we’re encouraging organisations not to sit back. History shows that our tickets sell fast, with many sold already,” says Danielle Upton, Sales & Events Coordinator at Alexandra Park.
She says Alexandra Park is renowned for delivering delicious dining packages, exciting harness racing, and an all-round fun night out. Then after the last race, everyone gets together at The Alex Bar & Eatery to enjoy some live entertainment.
“Not only are we providing more dates to choose from, but we’re giving people plenty of options when it comes to location, the type of hospitality package, and cost.
“Larger groups can hire a whole room for a private function if they want. Plus we’re selling ‘premium package’ tables and individual tickets to the likes of our Top of the Park and Tasman Rooms. While from just $68 per person you can enjoy hospitality in the Rutherford or Hobson rooms. And we’re selling tickets for our lovely balcony tables, so there’s certainly something for everyone,” says Ms Upton.
Regardless of the dining package people decide, everyone gets to enjoy a sumptuous Christmas-style buffet, says Alexandra Park Sales & Marketing Manager Joel Reichardt.
“Believe me the food is delicious and plentiful. We get a lot of positive feedback which is not surprising given the huge effort our executive chef Richard Harrison puts into the menu. At the same time, there’s always plenty of atmosphere and some great viewing spots on offer to watch our harness racing under lights,” he says.
Alexandra Park’s marketing campaign this year is aimed at those who have been tasked with organising their work Christmas party, with the message: ‘Everything you need, sorted with one booking’!
Alexandra Park’s internationally-themed cuisine race nights continue with Thai Night on 22 September, and Tropical Nights on 13 and 27 October.
