Devonport Rotary's Fine Homes Tour is back
The Fine Homes Tour of Devonport provides a rare opportunity to visit 10 Devonport homes of distinction, plus an extra bonus garden in Spring 2017!
Devonport Rotary, with the generous support of Devonport Bayleys Real Estate Limited and local businesses, have set their target sky high to raise funds for Devonport Rotary Charitable Trust, Dementia Auckland, Cure Kids and Plunket NZ through the third Devonport Rotary’s Fine Homes Tour of Devonport.
The experience will provide a wonderful opportunity for all architecture and interior design lovers and those with curious minds to see some of the most stunning homes in Devonport, allowing access to 10 exceptional homes plus an extra fabulous bonus garden, on Friday 27th October 2017, 9.30am and 4.30pm.
This prestigious event, endorsed by patron Maggie Barry MP, will raise much-needed funds for these four worthy charitable organisations.
This year the target has been increased to raise at least $40,000 clear profit to distribute equally between the four chosen beneficiaries. Tickets will cost $60 each (with no added costs) and of the strictly limited 700 tickets that will be available from 1st September and with the generous support of local sponsors, it is guaranteed that 100% of ticket sales will be donated to the four charities.
This great day out in the beautiful seaside suburb of Devonport is made possible by home owners who have generously opened their 10 very special homes and bonus
garden to the public for one day only. Each property will be sponsored by a variety of local businesses and ticket holders will be able to relax and enjoy a fabulous day out in Devonport that includes the famous hospitality of a selection of our wonderful local cafes and restaurants, with amazing prizes up for grabs through a fundraising raffle as well.
Sponsors include: Platinum Sponsor Devonport Bayleys Real Estate Ltd; Gold Sponsors Peter Wolfkamp and Places and Graces; and Silver Sponsors Coast and Country, Designworx, Devonport Flowers, Cosi Fan Tutte, Thomson Property Services, Muddy Wellies and Lynda Betts of Devonport Bayleys, with more local businesses set to come on board. In addition the selected local restaurants and cafés located on the route will offer a 10% discount to participants on the day.
Paul Treacher, President of Devonport Rotary Club says, ‘We will be delighted to
welcome you to the Fine Homes Tour, which promises to be a superb day of entertainment for those people who love heritage design, authentic beauty, modern style and the opportunity to tour our special village and see some fabulous homes, not to mention a visit or two to the many boutique cafes and restaurants.’
Hayden Stanaway, General Manager of Bayleys North Shore, continues to support this wonderful event, saying ‘Bayleys has loved being involved in the very successful first and second FHT of Dvt. We feel it is important to contribute our efforts in the Devonport community to these very worthwhile causes and create benefit to all the recipients.’
