After 21 Years with Top 10, Lake Taupo Holiday Resort is Stepping Out on Their Own
Branching out, supporting industry growth and creating new opportunities
Taupo, August 1, 2017 – Today is a big day for Trish and Lloyd Lusty, who have been under the TOP10 umbrella for many years.
“We are ready to stand on our own two feet. The experience and support we have had with the TOP10 Group has been great, but after 21 years, we are ready to become independent and start the next chapter” says Trish Lusty, Owner.
As of today, the park will be known as Lake Taupo Holiday Resort. The new brand is positioned around the classic kiwiana icons we all love and cherish. A holiday at Lake Taupo Holiday Resort is about the nostalgic memories we all have; running around as kids, spending quality time with family and friends and making new experiences.
“This is a big step for us. We have owned this park for 21 years and feel like we have taken it to a new level; a level unmatched by any other Holiday Park in New Zealand. We will continue to constantly work on improving the experience we give to our guests.” Says Lloyd Lusty, Owner.
Aimed at Kiwi families, the new brand blends the concept of the classic kiwi holiday with the resort-style facilities at Lake Taupo Holiday Resort.
“When we opened our thermal lagoon pool and swim-up bar last year, it was clear that Lake Taupo Holiday Resort had evolved into a category of its own; a destination for the classic kiwi holiday that we all know and love, but with a tropical island twist. It’s a big step for us, but we are so proud to be offering a destination where so many memories will be made.”
The last months have been very focused on developing a brand that can stand the test of time, and it will be exciting to see how consumers react to it. There are manymore surprises and developments to come over the next few years, so this is not the end of continuous innovation and improvement.
Lake Taupo Holiday Resort is launching the brand with a brand-new competition in partnership with New Zealand Riverjet.
A classic kiwi adventure holiday will be given away to a lucky family of 4. Entries are now open on the Lake Taupo Holiday Resort Facebook page.
