Minor bus crash on the Northern
Busway
A bus has crashed in the bushes on the
Northern Busway.
The bus was travelling southbound between Constellation Drive and Sunnynook when the driver was stung by a bee. He veered into a sign and the bus came to rest against the bank.
The bus remained upright and about 15 passengers have been transported to other buses. None of the passengers were injured.
There was minor damage to the bus and it will be towed away as soon as possible.
The busway is open but there is congestion on the Northern Motorway due to rubberneckers.
