Mayor Lianne Dalziel extends congratulations after Cabinet reshuffle
“I would like to congratulate the Hon Nicky Wagner in her new role supporting Greater Christchurch Regeneration,” says Christchurch Mayor Lianne Dalziel.
“I contacted Minister Wagner this afternoon, and we are both very much looking forward to working together.
“I have also contacted Gerry Brownlee to wish him all the best in his new role as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
“Although we haven’t always seen eye to eye, the passion that we both have for our city has meant that we have been able to focus on what is best for Christchurch. Minister Brownlee has left a strong platform for me and the new Minister to build on as we shift into regeneration.
“Minister Wagner and I will now meet to discuss how we can best work together with the community to explore regeneration opportunities for Christchurch.”
