Porirua’s going supercharged for next Thursday’s night market with the focus on electric vehicles.
The monthly market in Porirua’s city centre will be all about renewable energy, alternative fuels, and electric vehicles.
You’ll be able test drive a Tesla Model S, a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, and a Mitsubishi Miev, plus check out an electric bike and find out how to convert yours thanks to GET FIXED Bicycle Service.
Even the music is being powered by two bicycles thanks to the duo Nag.
The electric vehicles are in Porirua as part of Leading the Charge; a community of drivers, enthusiasts, and advocates who are helping to accelerate the shift to electric vehicles in New Zealand. Their stop in Porirua is part of the Tip to Toe Road Trip.
Come down for dinner with your family from 5pm until 8.30pm with plenty on offer from the Wellington Food Truck Collective.
