In my years in Christchurch and time as airline pilot I have never seen the Christchurch airport fire engine help in the
Christchurch Earthquakes or in fires outside of Christchurch airport. I have seen Christchurch City fire engines at the
Christchurch Airport.
Peter Wakeman who is running standing in the Mt Albert by-election says we need the best options when dealing with fire
fighting.
